Rabeetah Hasnain is an MFA candidate at Virginia Commonwealth University in Creative Writing, specializing in fiction and creative nonfiction. She serves as the Managing Editor for Blackbird Journal.
Rabeetah holds a MS in Education from Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Political Science from Appalachian State University. She is currently working on her debut linked story collection and her debut essay collection.
